Join Matriart’s Postpartum Support Circle for families with special needs. Led by a board-certified physical therapist and DONA-trained postpartum doula, this circle offers virtual postpartum support in a small group setting.
Sessions meet via Zoom and include information, resources, and both professional and peer support for your postpartum journey. Join other parents navigating the world of special needs as we discuss: infant feeding, soothing, and development, managing new roles and responsibilities, physical and mental wellbeing, activity modification, navigating the healthcare environment, self-care strategies, and accessing community supports and resources.
Please note: This circle is best suited for parents of children with special needs or with a critical health issue, or parents who themselves have a physical disability or health issue, in the first 12 weeks after the birth or adoption of a newborn. This support circle does not offer medical advice or treatment.
