Matriart offers three fund options for giving with purpose. Donations can be made monthly or as a one-time offering in any amount.

Doula Dana

Doula Dana (pronounced DAH-NAH) is a fund that enables pro bono or reduced-cost services for families in need and/or sponsored seats in courses or circles. Matriart offers sponsored support to at least one family quarterly, regardless of donations received. However, donations allow us to extend this service to more recipients. We accept applications for sponsored care via our Web site. If you are a healthcare or family services provider and would like to refer a family for consideration for doula dana, please email: catherine@yourmatriart.com

Research Fund

This fund enables independent research exploring the experiences and needs of caregivers, kids, and families, and is part of Matriart’s commitment to offering evidence-based information to empower families. Funds may support researcher time, independent IRB review, printing or dissemination of study recruitment materials, participant incentives, or fees related to publishing results.

General Fund

Funds are directed to the Doula Dana Fund or the Research Fund on the basis of current highest need.

Transparency

Matriart is a for-profit small business. As such, donations to our giving funds are not tax deductible.
