Catherine Noonan

Hi, I’m Catherine. I founded Matriart, and I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m a APTA board certified specialist in pediatric physical therapy with advanced training in postpartum physical therapy for women. I’m also a DONA-certified postpartum doula, an IAIM-certified educator of infant massage, and a former professor and human development researcher with a PhD in education and over 20 years of experience teaching children, adults, and families. I work with women, children, and families, providing home-based visits in and around Chapel Hill, NC, and virtual visits throughout North Carolina.
My hope is that Matriart’s unique combination of doula support, physical therapy care, and research-informed resources can help you and your loved ones grow healthier, happier, and a bit more free.

We provide doula+plus services, physical therapy care for children, and physical therapy care for women. We serve clients in home visits in and around Chapel Hill, NC, and virtual visits throughout the U.S.
